Climb your way to the ship’s highest point then plunge 3 stories on this must-ride body slide aboard the Disney Magic.

Experience a thrilling “high” seas adventure when the floor drops out and you drop in!
Located at the Forward Funnel on Deck 13, just behind the ship’s bright-red smokestack, this exhilarating waterslide takes you over the edge, literally—you’ll rocket over the side of the ship on a 20-foot curvature!
A loading capsule with a clear lid is where you’ll begin your trajectory, assisted by a Cast Member and an anticipation-building countdown. From your starting position towering nearly 37 feet above the decks below, brace yourself for the high-speed ride ahead as the floor beneath you falls away like a trap door. Then it’s down the hatch! Plummet 212 feet through a translucent tube that twists and turns to an unforgettable splashdown.

Designing the AquaDunk
When Donald Duck’s crafty nephews—Huey, Dewey and Louie—heard that the Disney Magic was being given a makeover, complete with an exciting new waterslide, they just knew they had to be involved. Always full of ideas, they went through several Donald-tested prototypes, including one rejected for “bounce” issues and another for being too long. Finally, they came up with a winner that passed inspection to make it to pending status. Now the boys want your stamp of approval! As you follow Dewey’s duck prints up 63 stairs, you’ll see blueprint schematics detailing the AquaDunk’s evolution and hear his color commentary, preparing you for the ultimate plunge.
As operating hours may vary, please check the Personal Navigator newsletter or Disney Cruise Line Navigator mobile app once onboard the ship for the most up-to-date information.

Learn about important health and safety policies regarding swim diapers, pool vests, toys and accessories.
Swim Diapers
The United States Public Health Service requires that only children who are toilet trained are permitted to enter swimming pools and spas aboard cruise ships. Children who are not toilet trained are welcome to enjoy our kids’ wet play areas and splash zones, where they must wear swim diapers. Please note: Swim diapers are not permitted in the pools, whirlpool spas, on the AquaDuck or in the AquaLab.
Pool Vests
Complimentary pool vests are available at the pool decks aboard all ships. These vests may be worn by children only in swimming pools to aid flotation and must not be taken ashore at ports of call, including Castaway Cay. Please note that pool vests are not a substitute for the lifejackets located in Guest staterooms, nor are they a substitution for adult supervision.
Pool Toys and Swim Accessories
- Coast Guard personal flotation devices (PFDs), water wings and flotation sewn into bathing suits may be brought onboard and are permitted on the AquaDunk.
- Floats, rafts and fun noodles cannot be brought onboard and are not permitted in the pools.
- Swim goggles that fit over the eyes only are permitted at all pools, whirlpool spas and waterslides, with the exception of AquaDunk aboard the Disney Magic, where goggles are not allowed.
- Swim masks that cover the eyes and nose are permitted at all pools, but they are not allowed on any slides, including the AquaDuck.
- Snorkel tubes are not permitted at any pools, whirlpool spas, waterslides or water play areas.
